I am sad to report that Lynn Russwurm passed away on Monday afternoon, 27 June 2016 after a difficult illness.
There will be visitation for family and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home in Elmira on Monday, 4 July from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, followed by a memorial service at St. James Lutheran Church on Tuesday, 5 July at 11:00am.
A musical tribute to Lynn will be announced for a later date.
Donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society are appreciated in sympathy.
This Sunday Aug 23 it will be the country sounds of the always popular Doug Dietrich and Sunrise at Gore Park in Elmira. From 7 to 9 pm. Admission free. Bring a lawn chair.
This Sunday, August 16, the entertainment for the Sunday Concert Series in Gore Park, Elmira, will be the ever-popular country sound of Gerald Davidson and The Country Versatiles. Come Early and bring a lawn chair. Admission free. 7 to 9 pm.
Last Sunday evening, the weather was perfect and the crowd was totally charmed by the Burie family – four very talented siblings from Wisconsin. Bethany plays guitar and does most of the lead singing. Rebekah adds the lovely fiddle parts. Nate does great mandolin leads, and Joe plays bass. They all sing. Their Mom, Tiffany, joined in too.

The weird weather threatened…we got hail and other strange weather things, but it all stopped just in time for The Peace River Band from Niagara Falls to perform. The crowd loved their performance!
